Tom Kendall winner of Welsh Assembly Open Day Competition

Tom Kendall was announced the winner of the WAG competition held on the Open Day of its New Offices in Aberystwyth.

Carwyn Jones, Wales' First Minister presented him with his prize, a 12 month pass to CADW sites. Tom was lucky enough to have a 20 minute audience with the First Minister and chatted about his interests, hobbies and school.

30 October 2009 Woodland Clearance

Friday, the last day of half term saw volunteers turn up to help with clearing the woodland area. It was a great day to be outside as the weather was kind to us and the rain held off. People arrived around 11 am and got stuck in to cutting down brambles and gorse and clearing the pathways, so the children would be able to access the area without getting tangled up. During the course of the clearance, one hibernating hedgehog was discovered and unfortunately, two wasps nests!

19th October 2009 Parent Govenors Meeting

There was a good turn out of staff, govenors and parents to this evenings meeting. The Annual Report had been distributed to all parents of the school and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the last 12 months activities under taken in the school.



The Chairman, Mr Ben Davies and the Head Master, Mr Rees reported back to the staff and parents the areas of work that needed current attention:
